Adventure Runner

Adventure Runner is a 3D action-adventure game where the player must traverse a dangerous ancient temple site and bring home as much treasure as possible. They are constantly moving forward, so there is little time to think -- only do! The locals made sure that anyone who tried to steal their treasure wouldn't make it out alive, and the wild animals aren't too thrilled about having unwelcome visitors in their valley either. Collect crystal pyramids to discover the secrets of the mysterious portals.

The gameplay video showcases an earlier pre-alpha, low-quality build.

All assets except the high-quality textures were created by Cory Camasta, as was the game, itself. Ryan Clark is a co-creator. His contributions may be added at a later time.

Demo Version 1.0 will be released soon, at which point the price will increase. Try the game for free while you can to decide if you'd like to pay for it when the next build is available.

**** (6/13 update) A release date was set tentatively for June 1st, and it COULD be released now, however I am still in the process of improving the playability. See the devlog for more details.

Cheat codes (i.e., debug functions you can use):

O and P keys allow you to turn manually

Backspace key warps to a random checkpoint area on the map (with your current rotation)

The '8' key deletes your save data, so don't press it by accident!

If you use the cheat codes, your high scores and coins collected will not be saved.

Known issues:

*You can save your high score and coins, but not the collection status of the crystal pyramids. **This functionality is complete and will be live in the next update.

*There is a lighting 'issue' on lower-end machines (like mine, I guess). If you play it on a real gaming rig, the temple areas will be significantly darker, but I suppose if you have a gaming rig you should be up to the challenge :)
